Thanks for your comment! Yes, I think a lot of people simply lack education on investing and are scared of losing money, but it’s really the only way to multiply your savings over the long term.

It features Terry Smith, a very successful UK fund manager. Net worth £220 million. He’s probably one of the closest investors we have to a Warren Buffet, so I like to hear what he says (even if some is a little over my head).

Well 56mins 48 seconds in, he calls himself “a bit of a cheapskate, as you know” and that he “only ever buys second hand cars, you know I’m a bit like that”.

He applies the habits you’ve highlighted and likes to see them also in the businesses he so successfully invests in.
