I finished Shoe Dog a month ago (a book from Nike’s founder). It’s a really good read. The problem with a lot of biographies on tech companies like Google/Facebook is that the book makes it seem as if success is easy.
“The Facebook Effect” makes it seem as if Mark Zuckerberg just had a good idea, worked hard and BOOM. Billion dollar company.
Shoe Dog really focused on all the day to day hardships that Phil Knight (the founder faced) in the first 10 years of Nike.
