I found out today how powerful reselling old books can be as I just sold a text book I picked up for 50p for £39.99!

Oh that’s a shame. Glad you get the change to stock up sometimes though!

The thing is, here in Australia most books aren’t on the kindle b/c of licensing issue. So I usually load up on a ton of new books when I get back to Canada.

If you only want to sell a few items you can get the basic account with no monthly fee! The fees kick in if you want to sell 35 or more items. I’ve tried selling on Amazon a couple of times but I’ve never had anything valuable to sell, so in general I prefer Ziffit because it’s much less hassle. Definitely worth it if you can get decent money though.

I’ve got some 2nd hand books ready but I think that I will get a big stockpile first so that it is worth paying the fees from the beginning.

Me too, I’m mostly ebooks these days! I had a huge clear out a few months ago which is where Ziffit/We Buy Books really came in handy. I’ve run out of stock to sell now though!

Haha oh no! I’ve never really had much that I thought would fetch a lot on Amazon, so I prefer to use Ziffit to get rid of stuff in bulk. I’m sure they are doing a great profit on it though.

Then ever since the kindle came out I’ve transitioned completely into books because I travel a lot.
