Love these ideas thank you! It is worth noting that if you plan to board a dog or cat in you home in the UK, you need to obtain an Animal boarding establishment licence from your local council. Obtaining a licence is quite costly and you undergo rigorous checks so isn’t really the way to a quick buck.

I had the same problem with most sites being aimed at Americans, which is one of the reasons I write posts like this from a UK perspective. Here are some more posts you might find useful if you haven't read them yet: How to Make Money Teaching English Online in the UK How to Start a Blog to Make Money I'm not sure about the technological requirements, it may vary depending on the company so definitely worth speaking to a few companies to check! I have seen that most places want you to have a headset because it's better sound quality, but if you can get a headset to use with your iPad I'm sure it would be fine. Good luck! :)

Thanks for the information, I enjoyed reading it. Whenever I look up about “working from home” it’s always aimed at America, so it’s good to have information on what’s available in the UK.
I make and sell crafty things in a small scale and do some childcare work but the work isn’t regular, so I’m always looking for other things.
I was particularly interested about Teaching English online and have been doing research on it. I have a TEFL qualification that I gained a few years ago, I did a few lessons with students and wondered if this would still be taken into account if I applied to companies. As for electronic equipment, I only have an iPad with FaceTime & iPhone, I wondered if this would suffice? I suppose there’sno harm in contacting companies and getting feedback from them?!
I am also research info on starting a blogger, I have a few of ideas for content.
