Thanks for your comment, Terence! Yes, I understand the FOMO mindset because I used to have that too. It’s easy to say with hindsight, but I wish I didn’t go out drinking so much in my first year of uni. I’m not really friends any more with the people I used to go drinking with and I wasted sooo much money. These days my friends and I usually make dinner for each other at home. It’s much calmer and cheaper!

Oh, I love your tip of reading at least one book about money. It’s the simplest way to learn about the basics and since students are already reading so much, one more book shouldn’t make a difference!
