Exactly! Big companies always have a budget for training and education. It is difficult to part with money for courses when you’re self employed but if you pick well, you should see returns that make up for it 🙂

Bosses invest in their staff because they know that they need to if they want to get the most out of them, so when you’re the boss yourself, it shouldn’t be any different!

I’ve always tried to keep a pretty normal schedule with working hours that are similar to what I had at my previous job. Getting in the habit of working these hours makes it much easier to be product and less tempting to slack off.
